Unite For Body Rights – A Global Program to Support MDGs
It is one of Rutgers WPF Indonesia’s visions to create a conducive environment (with the supports from the government and people) for Indonesians to be free from violence, and to fulfill their equal rights and non-discriminative sexual and reproductive health services. In order to achieve this vision, we have developed specific program that can be distinguished by their design that combines their target group and the approach used by each program.
For the UFBR program, we have designed several programs that will strengthen the capacity of teachers and peer educators who will be the front-liners in sharing comprehensive sexuality education for youth. We use two different training modules for junior and senior high schools, namely SETARA and DAKU! respectively. Education for young children is also part of the UFBR program. Following the training, information services for youth is provided at healthcare centers and clinic. Training on sexuality is also part of Comprehensive Sexual Education (CSE) method
In the implementation of program, Rutgers WPF Indonesia works with civil society organizations as the implementing partners. In April 2010, with the support of Rutgers WPF Indonesia, these implementing partners established One Vision Alliance (ASV) where they can support one another and share their success.
Members of the One Vision Alliance (ASV) are as follows:
